Ryan P. McWey, M.D.

Dr. McWey received his M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his Radiology residency at the University of Virginia Health System, where he was Chief Resident. He also completed a subspecialty fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at UVA. Dr. McWey is certified by the American Board of Radiology and actively participates in Maintenance of Certification. He specializes in advanced imaging of sports-related injuries, as well as therapeutic injections of the joints and spine.

Tell us an interesting fact about you as a child.
In elementary school, I was part of a new Japanese immersion program. From grades 2 through 6, my classmates and I spent half of the day learning math and science, all in Japanese.
