Steven T. Welch, M.D.

Dr. Welch joined Delaney Radiology in 2020. He received his M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. His training then continued with a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati. He served in the U.S. Navy for 9 years on active duty, including 2 years with a Marine Battalion.  Dr. Welch is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Pediatric Radiology and actively participates in Maintenance of Certification. His emphasis in pediatric radiology is pediatric neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging.

If you weren’t a radiologist, what would your profession be?
I wanted to be a meteorologist for many years and even had a backyard weather station in New Jersey, providing the local forecast for my family.
