Shannon M. Whitaker, PA-C

Shannon Whitaker received a B.S. in Biology in 1989 from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. In 1991, she received her B.H.S. as a Physician Assistant at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Shannon practiced family medicine for five years in Fairmont and Holly Ridge, North Carolina. She then practiced with Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians in Wilmington for six years in their urgent care departments/facilities. Board certified by the NCCPA and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Shannon has been with Delaney Radiology since August 2002.

If you weren’t a Delaney physician assistant, what would your profession be?
If I wasn’t a PA, my dream job would be traveling the world as a large animal vet. I’ve been in a lion’s den in Zimbabwe.
